Refund policy

We really hope that you’re happy with your Binding Tales purchase. However, if you are unhappy or if your product has been damaged in transit, please contact us at bindingtales2020@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving the product with the following:

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging.
  • Order number and details.
  • A description of the issue.

We value you and will try our best to resolve the issue.

However, given the nature of our products, we reserve sole discretion to provide resolution as we deem fit. Every return or exchange request is treated as an individual case.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at bindingtales2020@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

For return of non-defective items, the shipping charges will be paid by the customer. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer will be responsible for any loss in value. If a return is approved due to damage or an incorrect item, we will provide a return shipping label or reimburse the shipping cost.

Please note that minor differences in colour, printing and placement of the print are not considered defects, but are part of the intrinsic hand made and sustainable nature of our products and are what makes each piece special.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Custom-made and personalized items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Exchanges are only available for damaged or defective items.

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at bindingtales2020@gmail.com.

Refunds are only issued for items that arrive damaged, defective, or if an incorrect item was sent. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or slight variations in handmade products.
